ZyXEL VSG-1200 Configuration

This guide will walk you through setting up the ZyXEL VSG-1200 to work with Wireless Orbit. If you need information on basic configuration of the gateway, please consult the external links section of the ZyXEL VSG-1200 page of this wiki.
Customization
After logging onto the VSG-1200's administration interface, click on the Customization link under Advanced Setting in the menu to the left. This should display the Customization page, and the Login Page tab should be selected. If it is not, click on the Login Page tab. From here:
- Click on the Redirect checkbox
- In the Redirect Login Page URL blank enter the login portal URL for this gateway. If you don't already know that this URL is, just check the gateway details in the Gateways page of the Control Center.
- Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
Authentication Configuration
Now click on the Authentication under System Setting in the menu to the left. This will bring up the Authentication Configuration Page. From here:
- Click on the RADIUS checkbox
- In the Server IP Address blank for the Primary RADIUS Server enter "69.36.234.20"
- In the Authentication Port blank enter "1812"
- In the Accounting Port blank enter "1813"
- In the Shared Secret blank enter the secret key you defined in the RADIUS profile for this gateway (in the Control Center). If you're not sure what that is, just check the gateway details in the Gateways page of the Control Center.
- Click on the Enable checkbox for Accounting Service
- From the Authentication Method pulldown select "PAP"
- Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
You will be prompted to reboot the gateway. Do so, then log back into the administration interface.
Walled Garden
When the gateway has rebooted and you've logged back into the administration interface, click on the Walled Garden link under Advanced Setting in the menu to the left. From here:
- In the first Name blank enter "Wireless Orbit"
- In the first URL blank enter "https://portal.wirelessorbit.com"
- In the same way, add the hostnames of any payment gateways you're using
- Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
