ValuePoint WC-3000 Configuration

This guide will walk you through setting up the ValuePoint Networks WC-3000 to work with Wireless Orbit. If you need information on basic configuration of the gateway, please consult the external links section of the ValuePoint WC-3000 page of this wiki.

Login Page Customization
After logging into the WC-3000's administration interface, click on Customization from the menu on the left and then the Login Page tab on the top. On the Login Page Customization page:
- Click on the Portal checkbox
- In the Portal Page URL blank enter the login portal URL for this gateway. If you don't already know that this URL is, just check the gateway details in the Gateways page of the Control Center.
- Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
RADIUS Server Configuration
Now click on the Security link in the menu on the left. You should be at the RADIUS server configuration page. If you're not, click on the Authentication tab at the top. From here:
- Click on the Radius Server checkbox
- In the Server IP Address blank enter "69.36.234.20"
- In the Shared Secret blank enter the secret key you defined in the RADIUS profile for this gateway (in the Control Center). If you're not sure what that is, just check the gateway details in the Gateways page of the Control Center.
- For Account Service click on the Enable checkbox
- From the Authentication Method pulldown select "PAP"
- Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
Restart
You must now restart the gateway for the changes to take effect. Click on the Restart link at the bottom of the menu on the left to restart the gateway.
Pass Through Configuration
Now click on the Pass Through tab at the top of the page. From here:
- In the URL Link Page blank in the URL (Walled Garden) section enter "portal.wirelessorbit.com"
- In the same way, add the hostnames of any payment gateways you're using
- Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
