Radius profiles
From WirelessOrbit
RADIUS profiles define the RADIUS parameters for gateways and gateway groups.
More than one RADIUS profile may apply to a given gateway. The order of precedence is:
- The company-wide default RADIUS profile (called Default by default)
- The RADIUS profile of any gateway group or groups the gateway is a member of
- The RADIUS profile set for the gateway
Each one of these profiles overrides the one before it. Any values left blank or Unset for a given profile will not override a previously-set value.

Glossary
- Enabled
- Checked if the RADIUS profile is currently enabled.
- Idle Timeout
- Sets the length of time a login session can be idle before it is logged out automatically.
- Login Bump
- Accounts can only have one active login session at a time. If a user attempts to log while there's already an open login session, the attempt will be rejected by default. If the Login Bump option is set to Enabled then the old login session will be terminated and the new login will be permitted. This will only work if the user is logging in from the same computer or laptop as the original session.
- Sessions that are terminated by this mechanism are not counted toward session time usage limits---the terminated session is recorded as being 0 seconds long. This may be undesirable for accounts limited by the Calendar Time (From First Login) usage limit type.
- Leaving this option set as Unset causes the behavior to be controlled by the default behavior. This will only make a difference if you have more than one RADIUS profile active (e.g., a company-wide default policy and a policy for one specific gateway).
- Max Session Time
- Sets the maximum length of a login session.
- RADIUS Profile Name
- The name used throughout the Control Center to identify the RADIUS profile. It should be short and unique.
- Secret Key
- The RADIUS secret key.
