Migration
From WirelessOrbit
The migration interface is designed to import your existing configuration information from the old Wireless Orbit Control Center to the new Wireless Orbit 2.0 Control Center.
Because of the substantial differences between the old interface and the new interface, some items may be flagged for review or editing. If you encounter any problems, correct them in the old Control Center before proceeding. If you don't want to import the flagged item(s), you can ignore the warnings and continue. Any flagged items will not be imported.
If you don't want to import any of your existing configuration information (gateways, users, and so forth) you can just complete the Confirm Company Information step and then log into the new Control Center. Do not log into the new Control Center until the migration process is completed otherwise.
Keep in mind that any information that can't be imported automatically can be configured manually in the new Control Center.
If you encounter any problems you can't resolve contact support for assistance.

Import Data
When you first log onto the migration interface you will be presented with a short page of instructions. Read them and then click Get Started to begin importing your data.
Confirm Company Information
This page will display your company information (company name, address, and so on). Verify that it is all correct and then click on the Continue button to continue.
Confirm Bandwidth Plan Information
This page will display your old bandwidth plans. If any errors are reported, log onto the old Control Center and correct them before proceeding. When you're ready to continue, click the Continue button.
Confirm Gateway Information
This page will display any of your current gateways that cannot be imported. The most common reason for a gateway to be flagged here is a missing or invalid IP address or hostname. In most cases any situation that would cause a gateway to be flagged here would prevent it from being used in the old Control Center.
If you want to import any gateways that are flagged with errors, you will have to correct the errors in the old Control Center before continuing. If you don't want to import the flagged gateways you can ignore the warnings and continue.
When you're ready to continue, click the Continue button to import the gateways.
Confirm Location Group Information
This page will import your existing location groups. Location groups will appear in the new Control Center as gateway groups.
When you're ready to continue, click the Continue button to import the location groups.
Import Accounts
This page will import your existing user accounts, timecodes, and device accounts into the new Control Center. This process usually takes a couple minutes. The more accounts you have, the longer it will take. Do not close your browser, click on the browser's stop or reload buttons, or attempt to leave the page while the accounts are importing.
After clicking on Continue you should see messages displayed as the accounts are imported. When the process is finished, you will see a Next link at the bottom of the page. Click it to continue.
Import Usage
This page will import usage logs from the old Control Center. This includes all the login records for your old users. This may take several minutes. The more accounts you have, the longer it will take. Do not close your browser, click on the browser's stop or reload buttons, or attempt to leave the page while the usage logs are importing.
After clicking on Continue you should see messages displayed as the logs are imported. When the process is finished, you will see a Next link at the bottom of the page. Click it to continue.
Finished
You should now see a brief message describing what additional tasks you should complete in the new Control Center, and a link to log into your new Control Center account. Click on the link to log in.
