Control Center
From WirelessOrbit
The Control Center is the interface used to configure Wireless Orbit services. The main menu appears by default along the right margin of the browser window. It lists major configuration subjects like Accounts and Gateways. The names are links to configuration pages. Each configuration page has a navigation toolbar along the top that allows you to manage items in that page. Common configuration tasks follow a standard layout that is consistent across the entire Control Center.
The basic idea is that you always look for subject matter in the main menu (along the right), click on the subject you want to manage, then look for the task you want to do in the navigation toolbar (along the top).

Control Center
Home
This is the first page you see when you log into the Control Center. It contains general Control Center configuration options, and the overview page displays the Wireless Orbit Message of the Day (or MotD) which we use to keep you informed of anything that may affect the Wireless Orbit services.
Account Management
Accounts
The Accounts page is used to manage user accounts.
Account Classes
Account classes define limits and permissions associated with accounts. Typically you'll want to define a small number of account classes that describe the different types of account you wish to offer to your customers, and then many individual accounts will be created for each account class.
Network Management
Login Portals
Login portals define the look and feel of the captive portal or login page your customers use to access your wireless services. You will typically use one login portal on multiple gateways in your wireless network.
Login Portal Images
The Login Portal Images page allows you to upload images to your Control Center account. You can then use these images to customize the look of your login portals.
Gateways
Gateways are the hardware that make up your wireless network---also known as hotspots, access points, network access servers, and so forth. The Gateways page is where you enter information about your hardware to enable it to be used with Wireless Orbit.
Gateway Groups
Gateway groups allow you to put multiple gateways together to allow for easier management. You can create a group, add whatever gateways you want to it, and then apply rules and limits to the group and they will affect all gateways in the group.
RADIUS Profiles
RADIUS profiles are how you can configure the RADIUS settings for your gateways. Each RADIUS profile can be used as a network-wide default or associated with gateway groups or individual gateways.
Payments
User Payments
The User Payments page allows you to view and manage payments made by your customers via online signups.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are how you set the pricing for your wireless services. They associate account classes with prices.
Payment Gateways
Payment gateways are online payment processing services, like Authorize.Net and PayPal. The Payment Gateways page allows you to configure your wireless services to accept payments from different payment gateways.
Limits
Bandwidth Limits
Each bandwidth limit defines a single download/upload rate limit. Multiple bandwidth limits are combined to form bandwidth plans.
Bandwidth Plans
Each bandwidth plan includes one or more bandwidth limits. Bandwidth plans are used by gateways, gateway groups, and account groups, and account classes.
Usage Limits
Each usage limit defines a single limit on an account. The limit can involve session time, number of logins, or bandwidth. Multiple usage limits are combined to form usage plans.
Usage Plans
Each usage plan includes one or more usage limits. Usage plans are used by account classes to determine when and how an account is used.
Timetables
Timetables allow you to define access schedules for your accounts and gateways.
Information
