Adding The Login Portal

The Login Portal Page

In the Control Center click on Login Portals in the main menu to the left and then on Add in the navbar on top. From here:

  • In the Login Portal Name blank enter "Basic login portal"
  • In the Title blank enter "Example login portal"
  • In the Greeting/Message blank enter "Welcome to the example login portal"
  • Leave the Logo Image and Signup Image selections at "None"
  • Leave the Allow Signups checkbox checked
  • From the Login Types pulldown select "Both" to allow both user accounts and timecodes to log into this portal
  • Leave the Terms of Service selection at "Paid"
  • Leave the Payment Gateway selection at "None"
  • Leave the Payment Plan selection as it is. If you have previously set up any payment plans, select them in the right hand list and click on the < (left arrow) button to move them to the left.
  • Leave the Language selection at "English"
  • Click on the Add button

You will get a confirmation message. At the bottom, right above "Login portal added" click on the View Portal link.

A Disabled Login Portal

This will open a new browser window (or tab) containing the login portal. Login portals need to be associated with one or more gateways to be valid, so this portal will be displaying the error Logins are disabled at this time. Please try again later. If you are using the Wireless Orbit Basic service, a Wireless Orbit banner will be displayed above the login portal message.

Setting the Login Portal on a Gateway

Editing a Gateway

Now click on Gateways in the main menu and then on Edit in the navbar on top. From here:

  • Click on the Edit button next to one of your gateways
  • From the Login Portal pulldown select "Basic login portal"
  • Click on the Edit button

You will get a confirmation message. At the bottom, click on the View Portal link.

Example Login Portal

This will open a new browser window (or tab) containing the login portal. The "Logins are disabled at this time" error will not be displayed and in the Log In section of the portal you will see blanks for "Username", "Password" and "Timecode".

You have completed configuration of a basic login portal.
